Зачем люди создают семью? На мой взгляд, чтобы защитить себя в каком-то смысле от внешнего мира, чтобы чувствовать всегда тепло, понимание, заботу. Ведь каждому человеку важно знать, что какие бы гадости с ним не происходили на работе, на улице или будь то любое другое место, дома его всегда ждет понимание, всегда ждет родной человек, забота которого загладит все прочие шероховатости и даже впадины жизни. Но иногда этот самый близкий человек может довести до страшных вещей, он знает все потаенные уголки твоей души и, проникнув в них, так меняет ее, что ты сам себя не сможешь понять. В моем фильме пойдет рассказ о двух людях, которые когда-то любили друг друга, но зритель может это только предполагать. Мы видим их семейный быт, они постоянно ругаются, отношения напряженные, и это напряжение доводит мужчину до помешательства. Он сходит с ума и начинает творить неведомые ему вещи. Его внутреннее Я бунтует и отделяется, а затем берет верх над телом, а не только над душой. Именно поэтому название фильма «Альтер Эго», что означает «другое я».
